installed, open for 10 sec, crashed first 3 times. uninstalled reinstalling now

Crashes after ID intro animation, doesn’t work in windowed mode, either. Running on 5k iMac fully loaded.

Downloaded and installed the game and all it does is load the beginning graphic then crash to the desktop screen. I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!

Just updated to El Capitan from Yosemite… thinking it wasnt working on the old OS…..still doesnt work…. PLEASE FIX!!!!! Mac is supposed to be better than Windows……..right??? I played the mini ported version on my old iPod 4th generation…..how can my Mac Mini Late 2012 not run a 9 year old game???

This game crashes when I try to run it. It is unplayable.

If you play at your monitor’s native widescreen resolution, the game is stretched horizontally! The only way to make the game look normal is to play at a square resolution, which leaves black bars on the sides. And why is it stuttery? While my 2011 iMac isn’t the latest and greatest, my 2004-era PC could run the game smoothly and so there’s no reason for the game to not be buttery smooth on a computer released 7 years after Doom 3 originally came out.

finally doom3 has come to MAC. so having an AlienWare I said I would not touch my MAC well I was wrong not sure why apple took so long. I was,nt sure if buying this game was going to work cause I replace my memory with a higher one of course at first the game would not work it launched but went back to desktop I was like this company got me for the money, so I send them an email and they replied quickly and told me that the game would work next time that I tried and I kid you not it work fine and I have to give it to the company you guys make me like my mac even more so I guess I can wipe the dusk off my MAC now. I hope apple know how much of a difference that having these apps help the mac. thank you for giving me a reason to love my mac again.

there is no freaking sound!!!

I decided to take a chance on this, even after all the recent bad reviews. Works flawlessly for me on El Capitan. FYI, I have a 2009 Mac Pro w’ 16 GB RAM, Crucial SSD, and Radeon 4870 (soon to be replaced with Radeon 7950).

Running on a MacPro 13” 15 Intel Iris Display..No sound at all. Anybody else have this problem?

Like the game and it runs smoothly on MacBook Pro Late 2011 base line model running ElCapitan My only gripe is It is very difficult to see where the heck Im going when playing game. Its very very dark and spooky which I like but get frustrated with getting killed and having to start all over again…. I can’t seem to get thru the first adventure!! Still all in all its FUN. No glitches so far (Get it you won’t Regret it )

First time playing Doom 3. Years of waiting and I finally get to play it. It’s not like the Doom I remember. It’s a complete reimagining with more story. Um ,I used to be able to bring up the chat console and enter in a cheat code. I can’t do that anymore. Can someone help?

i used like these type of game. but this one has to many problems. weapons switch in battles. got as far hell level just to many problems. if they fix the problems it would be good.

While playing this game, I learned to turn off ‘Auto Weapon Switch’ due to the fact that I could switch weapons but the game wouold continuously change to a weapon I didn’t need or couldn’t defend myself with. After switching this option off, everything seamed to work fine until I came into contact with enemy characters in the very first mission. I couldn’t even get the pistol to show up( just fists or flashlight).This is not good enough guys!!! A must fix or it’s time to trash this program….I feel cheated.

I have sound problems from the beginning, finally, after hours of searching narrowed it down to I had to shut off my base jump speaker in order to get sound. The next problem is that if the room isn’t completely dark I cannot see what the heck is going on as the graphics are so dark and why donesn’t it save exactly where I saved it but rather at the very beginning of the level that I saved it. Very frustrating.

for $9.99 how bad could it really be? I usually blow through a new game in 2 days…took 2 weeks for this one… lots and lots of content..addictive and somewhat scary with surround sound headphones !

screen resolution is horrible, if adjusted the screen just zooms in, it does not become better, just impossible to use. wasted money. want a a refund but apple is a money hungry machine nowadays so i know thats a dead idea… new mac? dont bother with this game.
